Not sure about the specifics, but all of the Nikon brightline finders are relatively rare & desirable & I believe the 8.5cm is even rarer because that lens was replaced for the most part by the 10.5cm/2.5.

They are what I would call rare. I tired to sell a good shape (some brassing but crystal clear glass) 105 Nikkor before Christmas and it came up very short of the amount I was needing for it. I paid $275 if I remember right and it did not even clear $175. It took me about six months of watching, mine was the second I saw. If this one goes I might try it again. Market seemed to be down, perhaps this is the start of an upswing.
