Hello Friends,
It is time I made an announcement to my fellow photographers about my project, +90. www.plus90.ca
+90 is a book and a chronicle of People of Turkey. Title is borrowed from the international telephone code of Turkey.
It has been an interesting and sometimes frustrating journey to get the book printed and published. As a photographer it was rather easy to call the project concluded when the negatives were developed and scanned.
The Idea of designing, fundraising, publishing and marketing the book was not even in the distant plans when I first started the project.
The book is a 12x9" thick-softcover, Offset printed in Montreal, on the highest quality HannoArt papers.
Leica was excited enough to feature the book in the blog last week http://blog.leica-camera.com/photographers/guest-blog-posts/deniz-merdano-90-a-documentary-work-on-turkey/
It was also my priority to make an affordable photographic publication for a wider gamut of people to enjoy. Please visit the project website www.plus90.ca .
You can purchase the book in THE SHOP section or from Camtec Photo in Montreal's online store
Thank you for all your support and love
