My apologies if this has been dealt with already.
I have two original and apparently immaculate Leitz 9cm LTM to M bayonet adapters and, using the same lens, when I try to focus on the Moon, one of them shows exact focus (coincidence) with the lens at its infinity stop while the other shows two Moons (a bit past infinity).
Is that due to manufacturing tolerances or which one is the "better" one to use for subjects both far and close?
M2 with 2/100 lens.
