After a day filled with crappy news from various places, after dropping my son off at the technical college I headed south from town with my Pentax K5 in hand. The overcast gave way to sun, my spirits lifted and I ended up with a few things worth sharing.

Still getting to know the camera, decided to try out the in-camera JPG engine. These are all SOOC on the “Landscape” setting, only made small enough to upload here. The real magic remains the HD 20-40mm limited zoom though. What an amazing bit of glass!

Nice work with the K 5 and the 20-40. K 5's were my professional go to for a few years and always performed well so I'm not surprised to see your good results. My Pentax lenses are no slouch either, although i've never used the 20-40.
