Just back from my first date with my toddler daugther to a car show. It's lots of fun but very hot!

More pictures and an account of the day here.

Enjoy!

Nice shooting, Will, and thanks for sharing your experiences at the car show with your daughter. Your description of the Texas weather reminds me why my folks moved us to California in the seventies. As for cars, their variety and incredible lines never cease to amaze me. Particularly the older ones back when each seemed to very much have its own personality.

The clouds-over-the-city picture is fantastic. Easily my favorite of the bunch.

What speed did you rate the film at, since it's expired and all?

Randy, Erik, and Tom:

Thanks, I like that shot too, since the film has expired since 2005, I figure it would have lost its sensitivity about one-stop, so I treat it as a 200 ASA film. That shot with the cloud IIRC was f11 1/250 leaning towards over- rather than under-exposure.

Will, where was that, I know you are in the Bay Area? I really like the original cars. You probably are not old enough (the original cars), but a day along with your daughter is never forgotten. Thanks again, for the LightZone (Linux) Info. I have it all, so if anyone wants it, run it past Will, and I will supply.

Carter, I wish I live in the Bay Area, I'm about 1,730 miles west from there :D

The car show is in Denton, TX. Btw, you don't look old at all from your Avatar :)

So, how do you like LightZone?
