very nice article and even nicer photos. I liked the "butchered" arm picture the best. very nice gritty b&W in all of the photos.

Beautiful photos, disturbing images. Quite an interesting article as well.
The photos speak well for the photographer as well as the R-D1s.

Unfortunately this is true everywhere and still centers get shut down. Even photos like yours will not prevent it.

Eyal -- did you shoot the pics in B/W, or in color then converted it?

Hi, I always shoot in color RAW mode, simply because the camera's B/W processor will never be as good as a PC, but when I visualize the photo when I take I already decide whether it will be B/W or color.

I am using a 15mm CV lens most of the times, and few shots were taken with the CV 25mm lens.
