A few Retina Ia car show photos

While running errands my wife and I came across a car show at a nearby Wal-mart store. My carry-around film camera that day was a Kodak Retina Ia (Type 015) equipped with the Retina-Xenar 50/3.5 lens. I recently cleaned the hazy lens and wanted to see how it performed. I'm pleased with the results.









Film is some old Fuji Super G+ 100 (expired in 1998) that I keep in the bulk loader for test rolls. Focus by guesstimate, metering mostly by Sunny 16.
 
The second shot is my fav...not the biggest fan of the Impalas but this shot could be used for it's brochure...Color in this shot matches nicely with the era of that car...
 
Those are some awesome shots of wonderful cars. I have only used my Retina II for monochrome, but it always took excellent crisp pictures. Your shots are giving me ieas to try color with it...!
