Well, I took some time this morning to go shoot at an old burnt out brick building semi-hiding in the woods off one of the main roads in town. I did some research and leaned that it once was a distillary.

I dropped off that film for processing, but didn't get a chance to scan any of the negatives I picked up earlier in the week.

Then UPS came. My Yashica Mat is back from Mark Hama looking very good. It was away from me for only 2 weeks. If anyone is looking for a Yashica TLR repair I am very happy with his fast service. My Domke F-6 is here, I am pretty happy with this bag. I think it will work out well. Not too big, and I can even fit more into it when the R3a arrives, or if I stumble onto anything else.

Then I went to the mailbox and a nice little package from Canada was waiting for me. My Canonet hood from Joe was there. Thank you Joe, it arrived safely and has already been slipped onto the camera. Now I have a really complete Canonet outfit.

If I get a chance to scan some film tonight I will litter the gallery for you guys.

well i must have cursed myself with the post where i said it was like christmas with all the parcels coming in at once cause i have not had a parcel in 2 days.
(is that a run on sentence?)

i have 5 small parcels in route, guess i shouldn't complain...

rover, glad the hood got there so quickly. my replacement for that hood looks great on the 85/2. and once again thanks for the cv strap.
and brian has another camera to play with and a new choice in his stable of lenses. some guys have all the fun.
just remember that 35/2.8 canon has a home anytime the need arises.

Joe, I think I saw a 35/2.8 or 35/2 Canon just posted on ebay this afternoon.

And I just won a Steinheil Culminar 85 f2.8 in LTM for $15! Seller described it as foggy, another basket case that hopefully works out with a DIY repair. If not, I get an 85mm Helical! How come Schneider never made the 85mm f4 Tele-Arton in LTM?

Rover,
Hey, my Yashica-Mat just came in today also. I'm excited to throw in some 120 and scan the results.

And for me too ! The books (yes, books) were waiting for me over my desk at the office, thumbs up for camerabooks !

Having in my hands the totemic Princelle is... oh, like being in heaven :D :D Not to mention the brand new copy of Dechert's Canon Rangefinders :D :D :D
