A little diversion from gear talk

Evening all - it's a dark autumn evening in England, with lots of rain and wind. Our clocks have just gone to winter time so as a little diversion I have been seeking out interesting pictures to inspire when there is more light.

Here's a collection of Soviet era photography that I really liked (can't afford the prices though!)

Edit: The clocks went back in Portugal today also. The light was wonderful, and I went out at dusk just to see the light fade and get some photo inspiration. Shirt sleeve weather here!

Shirtsleeves eh? I'm wearing shirtsleeves somewhere under the three t-shirts and the raincoat!

That's probably why I am attracted to the FSU cameras and lenses.

That is their code speak for they don't have it and don't know when or if they'll get it.

I'm in Massachusetts, so I can imagine it taking a little while. I bought it via Alibris, so there usually is some lead time involved since they are essentially book brokers. I think by definition they don't have much in the way of in-house stock... they have a network of sellers they work with. In any case, I couldn't find a U.S. dealer that had it.
