I wanted to share / open to criticism a little set of images from my last 2 years living in Fort Worth. Im very fortunate to have some interesting things growing right in my back yard, and a lot of fun toys to shoot them with. I have selected 10 of my favorites from the last 2 years which I humbly invite you view and offer feedback on.

two notes in advance; one I realize dust is apparent on some of these and dust is a very big problem with 4 animals and for that I apologize. Please try to look past that, it is something I have been trying to improve as time goes on.
the other is that this collection is tied by 3 commonalities; these are flowers from around my house, they are in black and white and they are film. I hope you do not mind a bit of variety; this set represents a period of learning and discovery over 2/3rds of the time I've taken photos.

Most of those flowers can be seen in my back yard,it's just that my wife is responsible for the near jungle we both end up attending to. It's given me no lack of subject matter for years now. Only problem is your eye is better than mine, but film is cheap,so I'll just have to practice more. Round about way of saying I like them !
