And probably one of the most beautiful and artistically shot promotional videos you'll ever see. LINK

Nice thanks.

There was a shot where they were putting all those lenses into a rack I think to be sent coating process, when they were moving it, I was thinking the eyes of a fly..

About two thirds of the way through you see someone holding a Nikon DSLR. Even though they make lenses for multiple brands of cameras it was surprising to see a manufacturer showing another company's product!

For some reason this video has made me want an SD1M ... I can't quite work that out!

i wonder if that tray full of lenses someone has ever dropped it...:D

and very happy to see a lot of work depends on people!!!

Beautiful video Keith...when will i have my slow zoom dpm?

I'm impressed that they operate out of the one factory ... and it's a family owned business. It makes you realise that their products don't have to sell in the quantities necessary to keep the giant coorporations they're competing with happy.

I enjoyed that. I was expecting to some of their compact high res cameras, though... : D

But as others have noted, I was heartened to see actual people being employed.

Brilliant.

I had spoken earlier of the beautiful Xmas package Sigma had assembled and sent off last year. This even trumps that.

I just love EVERYTHING they are doing in the last couple of years.

I'm definitely the new kid on the block when it comes to Sigma but I have to say I totally agree with this sentiment. :)

really enjoyed that, makes me want to buy everything they sell, lol. i actually do have a few of their canon dslr lenses, which are among my most used. i've always been a fan of their lenses, but the foveon stuff takes the fandom to a new level.

Interesting Keith. Thanks. It appears to be in the mountains. It is my understanding that lens markers have moved to the countryside to get away from the pollutants found in urban regions.

That video is produced from the heart.
Amazing.
Good linking, Keith!

Good description ... it sort of had that feel to it and as others have said nice to see the emphasis on their human work force. :)
