Well, kinda.
I am a committed DSLR shooter, but dragging a D1 or even a D70s around when I'm not planning on shooting is, well, a drag. I've felt the need for a smaller, simpler digicam for everyday carry - a digital replacement for my old Oly XA or Yashica T4 Super. I've been working with a Sony DSC-T9, but that's too little in both size and capability for what I have in mind. (My RF stuff is for more deliberate shooting - it's not the gear I carry every day.)
I've always admired the Panasonic line of cameras that have the Leica designed 6-72/2.8-3.3 ASPH "superzoom". A friend picked up a Panasonic DMC-FZ7 last spring, and I have been totally blown away by his results. I noticed Amazon was selling them for $255 shipped, so...
