the snow must go on
looks cute, and very very eyecatching. Not a stealth camera, for sure.

Nice Fred but that's the key... We're not talking stealth here eh?Pherdinand said:looks cute, and very very eyecatching. Not a stealth camera, for sure.

Exactly what I thought. It does look very nice; not a color I would have chosen myself (if any color, probably a dark burgundy or "hammertone").Pherdinand said:looks cute, and very very eyecatching. Not a stealth camera, for sure.
I do have to say it was done with taste. Some former-CCCP gear sellers on ePrey could learn a few "fashion" tips from you!

looks good.. how long did it take to get the new skins from cameraleather? I'm STILL waiting on mine to arrive, 6 weeks later.. and a week and a half after Sparks promised he'd send it out 'tomorrow'

I resemble that remark. There is nothing wrong with Blue Canonets.

There is an easier way to remove the leather. I did one in about 30 minutes. I used a heat gun on low power to heat and soften the adhesive. I was able to get the back off easiest the front parts are harder...I like the red snakeskin color they sell.

Looks nice! I'm really diggin' that color. I re-covered my QL-17 a few months back with the Spring Green goat skin from CameraLeather.com, I really love the way it turned out.
