A Question about F Stops

My "new" IIIC came with a later Elmar that is coated and comes marked off in international f-stops. I wanted to get a whole set of Elmars; but I have been noticing that most of the 90mm Elmars I see use the old style f-stop scale, and I have yet to come across a 35mm Elmar on Eb** that uses modern f-stops.

My question is, when did Leica switch from the old style f-stops to modern ones? Also, I have comes across websites that lists serial numbers and the corresponding years of production for bodies, but does anyone know a site that does the same for lenses?

Thanks,
Richie
