Just bought a Rolleicord, will send it for a CLA, in working order, apparently, except slow speeds a bit sluggish. Plan to clean it up, see if tripping will sort the shutter speeds then send for a CLA. Comes with original case which I will restore using leather cream, a hood and a set of filters. The princely sum of £125 was handed over.😀 At the end of the day I can also use the filters and hood on my Rolleiflex too. 😀

Excellent buy, looks like a III to me. I just got an old Ia with an uncoated Triotar and it will probably be my de facto portrait camera. I am not a medium format kind of person but still I enjoyed using mine. Here are some pics from the uncoated Triotar.

Don't expect exercising the shutter to make the slow speeds accurate. I've had a Rolleicord V for many years and the slow speeds have never worked properly. I've never missed them. Most important is that the "hand-holdable" speeds like 1/30 and faster are pretty accurate, and that the taking lens is in good shape. Have fun -- the III is a great camera.

I really like your images, love the way the lens renders the image🙂

must admit I never really use slow shutter speeds much anyway🙂

I have got the same Rolleicord, I'm interested in hearing how your CLA goes, my speeds below 1/25 don't work, the shutter stays open. Higher speeds seem accurate. The mirror/upper lens are quite dirty.

Mark Hansen CLA'd my Rolleicord III and it's super smooth. I also installed a Rick Oleson split image screen which made a huge improvement to me.

Cngrats on your Rolleicord!! I love my Rolleicord (a Vb). I got a Maxwell screen installed and that makes a huge difference...

Many thanks, it came with an orange filter, uv filter, Rolinar 2 , Rollei hood and cases for camera, hood and filters, as well as the rolleicord camera, (all for £125). Which I am quite pleased with🙂
