I have always been a bit tempted by Japan Camera Hunter service "looking for a camera" to find a couple of rarish items I'd not mind owning but I always found a bit difficult to fill the estimation of budget in their form, may I ask how would you do? I mean, of course I could write something like "Looking for cloth curtain Nikon F with tick mark lens, budget 500 dollars" but it wouldn't make much sense. Just in case the items I was considering are the following:
Minolta TC-1 compact camera;
64xxxxx Nikon F body with machined advance lever, square selftimer lever etc;
Early black Nikon F (not sure about thje serial, 64xxxxx is out of the question, maybe I'd already be happy with it being labelled "Nippon Kogaku");
Tick mark 5.0cm lens;
F2 Titan.
I mean, not all of these...didn't win the lottery, these is a rough list of things I don't have and wouldn't mind eventually buying, knowing estimate prices in Japan would help decide whether to try JCH service or forget about it.
