This is certainly something a bit different - not film but digital, not Leica but Panasonic, and not using any lens you have heard of either! So onto my little Lumix GM1 I have a helicoid supporting a jeweller's eye-glass. No aperture to adjust and focus using the helicoid. The eyeglass is a push fit into a spare m4/3 adapter ring. Very crude and so are the results as you can see! The subject is a short row of 25ml bottles acquired as a job lot. Of course there has been some pretty basic post-processing but nothing dramatic. At the very least you have to admit the result is different!
The eye glass seems to be an uncoated single element meniscus piece of glass - nothing fancy! I bought the eye-piece some 64 years ago while at University and its been used in the field and generally lived among junk in a desk drawer. So why bother? If photography can't be fun, why bother?
