for sharing this with us. Personally I love using the FT I have..its great to take on holiday. I have been using a half-frame for over 40 years and never grow tired of it. I am still amazed at the quality delivered by the lens. The viewfinder is a bit dim thanks to the useless meter they installed..but I like it

thank you all for the kind replies, i would like to show more pictures taken from this wonderful camera.

I remember something that Mr. Maitani said about the PEN f being impossible to produce nowadays due to the prices and how it was a wonder they produced them for what they sold for at that time.

They're really special, elegant cameras. I have an FV I'm keeping, and 3-4 FT lenses. The 1.8 is really the best, and most common, which is a happy situation.

i added some more info, i found it hard to find info on the net to take off the top of the camera plate, but it was actually quite easy.
