About classifieds...

One thing bugs me about those small classified photos in the rf-main page: how are those adds selected? For the past few days I have often clicked those images and when I see the add they are old and and most of them have been tagged "sold". What is the point of keeping sold items and adds so visible? Like now...3/4 of those items seen on front page couple of minutes ago were "sold".

I pointed this out a week ago and it pretty well passed under the radar for some reason.

I think it's a little ludicrous to have it this way but hopefully it's only a glitch that will be sorted out eventually.

Yep. Bugs me too. Waste of time scanning through adds for equipment that is no longer for sale.

I ignore the ones shown on the front page (some random view I guess, worse than useless) and click on the either the Classified link at the top of the page or the "Featured Member Ads" link just over those useless thumbnails. Either takes you to a list of Classifieds in most recent order.

I can't believe the variety of gear that has been sold in the classifieds over the last couple of months ... it fair makes your mouth water at times.
