I've just received an old bottom-wind Canonet 19 with a rangefinder that needs to be adjusted. Removing the top plate, I can adjust the mirror horizontally, but not vertically. The set screw in back of the mirror that is probably for that job is present, but will only push the mirror, deflecting it downward. How does it correct in the other direction? Solid brass, fairly stout. I thought about shimming underneath the plate the mirror sits on?
Any hints would be appreciated...
BTW...pretty neat camera...no batteries needed, built like a brick!
Regards!
