AGFA Scala discontinued in Canada?

Hello all,

There are few B&W slide films out there, and recently one of the few available in Canada is being phased out: AGFA Scala.

Here in Toronto, everyone is saying that - as of September 10th - all processing will be have to be done in the U.S. due to lack of interest/popularity. Toronto Image Works (one of the major labs here) has stopped ordering the slide film entirely (I can't speak for others, like Downtown Camera).

Does anyone (here or south of the border) have any further info on this?

Downtown Camera still sells Scala, but you're right, Toronto Image Works no longer processes them. To do so, we'd have to go to the U.S. 🙁
