Agfa Vista Plus 200 and 400 135-36 - ????

Just got an email from Pictureline in SLC that they are offering Vista Plus 200 and 400 135-36 Film at a good price ($2.99 and 3.49).

Anyone tried these films? If so, how do they perform, and any comparison to our Kodak brethren?

I haven't seen Agfa in the USA in some time- do they "really" exist, or is this one of those re-badging situations?

almost certainly, if the situation is the same in the US as it is in Europe.

here in the EU at least, the 200 is Fuji C200.
Never seen any 400 though.

it's an average, cheap consumer C41 print film. nothing special. colours are OK, bit of grain. it can often be bought for the equivalent of ~$1.60 over here. and you get what you pay for 😉

Here in NL the 200 and 400 are sold at the drugstore Kruidvat for quite little. Both are quite grainy and scan not great on Coolscans (which is what I use). I have three examples of each in my flickr:
