The girlfriend talked me into shooting colour for the Marigold Parade the other day. It was held in the South Valley here in Albuquerque, and she was also successful in twisting my arm and actually posting them online. The parade celebrates the Dias de La Muertes. The film is real cheap stuff, but the lens is the real deal..... a Leica R 90 2 Summicron w/ tons of scratches on the front and some haze. It's sharp stopped down, and when shot wide open, or below 5.6, gives a veiling flare outdoors that I really like. June is 64. I filtered out the grain in some noise removal software on the first shot just to see the difference. It's not to my taste, but it's a good contrast between the two.

Would love to check out those photos but your link appears to be broken. It's a great parade, I've shot lots of footage of costumes and lowriders there - tons of fascinating subject matter.

Don't know what to say. I went right to it, but then my phone and google on my home computer and email are synced, so let me get home and try the link with the girlfriend's phone. This was my first time to post anything to google photos online, so who knows?

Apparantly other people have had this problem with google photos when it comes to public sharing their links. I will have to wait until I get back to my place, take the photos down from google photos, and find another online photo hosting site. If someone has a recommendation for a useable, free, online photo hosting site, It would be much appreciated.

It will be great if pictures will be available for viewing.

Flickr is free for certain amount of visible pictures and I'm finding it most usable.
