Isn't that the same company that made "Allman Joy" and "Mounds" - Sometimes I feel like a nut, sometimes I don't...

I don't know man, Almond Joy and Mounds didn't look too appetizing imho
I'm more than happy to stick with "Snack Bar" and "Crunchie"

Stephen Paley is listed as the photographer for that 1969 album.

in retrospect yes, they were not as appetizing as our wholesome Canadian chocolate bars.
but as a nine year old seeing them advertised on TV on the Buffalo station, in the days of Commander Tom and Irv Weinstein...well they were not available here in TO, so it was like forbidden fruit.

The Almond Brothers were pretty good but for my money it doesn't get any better than the California Raisins singing "I heard it through the grapevine."

Ease up, have a sense of humour.
I was going by the album name you gave on your thread opener, that would incline me to believe the photographer was Stephen Paley.
Yes we know about Jim Marshall the photographer with his brassed black paint M4 and bent lens shade.
he shot many concerts including Monterey and Woodstock.
he was mentioned in many threads in years gone by on RFF.
I also met the Jim Marshall of amplifier fame.

It looks very Edgar Alan Poe like.
makes me want to dust off my old Allman Bros.vinyl and spin In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed.
