I'm heading out to Europe soon for two weeks and I want to pack as lightly as possible.
Is there an alternative to the Fuji charger that is smaller? Perhaps like the Canon Elph chargers where they plug into the wall?
I know that these exist, but I'm looking for some first hand experience with them.
And here's an X100 photo for grins

I've bought them on ebay - for the x100, xp1 and even a nikon 800... Small little black boxes with a swivel plug like the apple ac adapters. They all have different brand names but they all seem to be the same (about $6-8) and come from hong kong in about 1 week.
I'm sure fuji won't say they are ok, but I've never had a problem and they are cheap enough to leave one in the car, one in the office and one at home and still have lots left over from the OEM version price.
Have a great trip.

If you have one of the very common Apple plugs with the tiny Euro socket part on the end, you can plug your existing Fuji charger into the wall - it works with all voltages. Many hardware shops in Europe will sell something similar.

i have an anonymous chinese charger/battery combo, ebay $15usd, works great. recently took it on extended holiday in france, no problem at all, and no ridiculous long cord.
