I am so glad I don't have to do that. I did when I was a teenager, and it was a major pain to move in and out.

We live in a small apartment with a 5X7 foot bathroom. I set up when the wife is at work, takes about 30 min. to set up and take down. My safelight is a red LED ropelight that stays up all the time, I just plug it in when working. My main problem is ventilation, gets too warm in there. My small set up is very simple with a Durst F30, ancient Time-O-Light, and a few trays. I can only do up to 8X10.

Love it! My first darkroom was under the kitchen table because the missus was opposed to me using the bathroom in the middle of the night with 2 small kids.
Now I have a workspace/darkroom in the basement!

Any kind of permanent setup would feel like a big jump from there, believe me 😀

That's pretty much how I envision my spare bathroom that my wife doesn't use. All i need are a couple of tables. Thanks for the visual ideas.
