"the pervasive desire for more". Boy, am I ever glad I got out of that never ending hell trap. Any day I wake up is a good day, and it's the simple things in life that give us pleasure, not the stuff we desire, which always w/o exception lead us to more suffering.

She is an interesting photographer, in this case catching the very wealthy lower class. An odd group especially in the US, since they are on reality TV, but never on the "a-list."
An entire group with no background in the arts, literature, philanthropy, or education. And no effort, unlike the robber barons, like Frick, who made an effort to enter the upper classes by collecting art, or building schools.

40 years ago in one (and only) finance course I learned Capitalism worked because no matter how much one has they desire more. In general people are driven to work harder to buy more and are never satisfied with what they have.
And before your more progressive types out there think this is evil; I say (in general) the people on this forum prove the truth of the above statement. You just call it GAS and try to justify it in one form or another.
