...but I've got a Leica!! ;-)
Bought a M8 2 weeks ago, had not much opportunity to shoot it, but I'm really pleased with my first test shots (no IR filter yet).

I got it together with a CV 40mm - really like it, but may have to do that thing with the 35mm frame lines. Anyway, love the camera so far, such a beauty (black version)...
I hope to get some more images soon...
(edit) here's some more...

Congratulations, I've just got my M8 yesterday. It is a fine machine, enjoy it. In my case I think it's a start of a very long relationship..I hope

thanks
and btw: I'm totally fine with the "noisy" shutter. It's not that bad...and I love to have 1/8000 available.
I just wish I had more time to use it right now...

I just had a short look at your "HOME" site, that is some really serious stuff, looking forward seeing what you can do with your new toy !.

Totally agree; that's why I never bothered to "upgrade" mine either. I don't care about the noise, and love fast lenses (even in daylight) so 1/8000s comes in handy!
The sound is much more muted than my DSLR for instance...it sounds gentle and non-invasive in comparison to that hard mirror slap.
But exposure compensation is a bit fiddly, maybe I'll swith to manual, now shooting mostly in A-mode. We'll see...

great photos, beautiful colors, especially #1... nice camera isn't it? can't understand why it gets maligned as it does. I love mine to pieces.
p.s. I've been giving the LR presets you posted on your blog a try. So far, so good! Thanks for posting them.

I can't understand either...
I have seen a similar level of quality at 100% only from my DP2 - and that is a totally different...mh...camera
