Anybody have experience with the (very pretty) Leica II copies that are flooding the big auction site? Item 280142541033 for instance. Wondering how well they work.

. It had been a Russian Zorki.
Many of these copies are better as display/conversation pieces rather than as shooting cameras. Much attention had been put to their cosmetics rather than function during their conversion. And they may contain parts which came from other cameras.
However, some of these made-over cameras are indeed functional. The only way to tell is to get one and see.
