Hey all,

I just acquired a Fuji GS645W in fine condition for a really good price, and attempted to put a test roll through it last night. Everything went smoothly for the first couple exposures, but then something strange started happening - every two or three shots, the camera's shutter would simply lock up. The 'lock' mechanism was definitely off, and as far as I know the film is loaded properly, but I couldn't get the shutter to fire unless I opened and then re-closed the back of the camera (which, of course, ruins the film). Has anyone experienced this before? (To be clear, the camera functions PERFECTLY without film - no shutter lock. It only occurs when film is loaded, and I can tell that it's going to occur when the advance lever tightens, as if the film is not pulling through properly?)

Aside from this issue, I have another question:

For long exposures, there's a 'T' button above the lens that requires a deep press to open the shutter - you then just press the normal shutter release button to close back down. I'd guess that doing this by hand would shake the camera and slightly reduce sharpness - has anyone used a cable release for bulb exposures with this camera? If so, could you explain how?

Thanks in advance for any help / advice.
