It think it actually looks like a fuji
It has some nice features. The articulating VF is cool. I'm sure someone here into m4/3 will have more to say.

I've had mine for a few months. It has the 12-60 lens replacing my Fuji X30 (which I gave to my DIL)...slowly getting used to it....my biggest problem is all the menu items and figuring out what I need and don't need.....lets just say I wish for the simplicity of my M-8 (on loan to a friend)..I like that it and the lens are sealed. It is larger then I expected but I quickly adapted..the grip is great.....I'd say it's a keeper..does everything I need it to do...I might look into the 100-400zoom... the lack of a built in flash is not a problem for me .....all in all you could do a lot worse then the GX 8 regards,Bill

I have had mine for about a month and a half. I have tried many of the smaller camera's (x100/x100s, XE-2) but the handling of the GX-8 is superior in my experience. I especially like the touch screen. Thought it would be a gimmick, but I use my thumb on the screen to move the focus point and to focus. Never have to take my eye off the VF. Speaking of VF, it is the best I have come across for mirrorless EVFs. I have seen the Olympus Pen F digital and it is almost the same. Still working out the lenses for it but have started settling on the Pana-Leica versions (15/1.7, 25/1.4, 42.5/1.2).

I'm really liking my GX8. It's a nice size, has a very good EVF, and the Dual Lens/Body stabilization is really great. The image quality is excellent. I also use the 4K video a lot, but the big problem with video is that the in-body stabilization doesn't work in 4K. Because I use several manual focus lenses, that means no stabilization at all in 4K much of the time. While I will keep using the excellent GX8 as a still photo camera, I'm going to get a G85 for video to replace my GH3, just for the IBIS in 4K.
