A few days ago my dad gave me a small box of coins I had accumulated when I was a kid. Nothing spectacular or worth very much but as I was looking at them I remembered I had never been able to figure out where this one came from:
Anyone know this one? It's aluminum and about 3/4 inch in diameter.

Thanks for that! As I suspected, the coin is pretty but low value otherwise.
And yes, it is Taiwanese (a 1 Chiao coin from 1955 ).
