I have had always liked Ilford Multigrade RC papers. I am using Ilford 8x10 papers in Pearl finish now as I just got back into wet printing. Since I am planning ahead to buy some 100 sheet pack, I found that a pack of 100 for Seagull RC is almost $10 cheaper than that of Ilford.
Any of you here using Seagull RC papers for wet printing? I know that their FB papers used to be well adored back in the days. But how are their RC papers? Is the paper weight (gsm) same as Ilford? Do they show good tonal range? Any problem washing or drying compared to Ilford's?

I have students that are using both Ilford RC and Seagul RC paper this semester. The only difference worth mentioning is the Seagul has a white paper base and the tonal range appears to be slightly colder. As far as development times, handling, washing and drying it exactly the same as the Ilford.

Damn touch screen on the iPad. Didn't mean post that yet. To finish my last thought.
If you have more specific questions about the Seagul I would be happy to head down to the darkroom today at work to gather some answers for you.
