Any RD-1 shooter use Nikon RF lenses on their RD-1?

I don't own any wide Leica glass, so I was mounting my Nikon RF wide angle lenses on the RD-1 via an adapter. So far I found that the 3.5cm f1.8 Nikkor doesn't fit; the rear lens element interferes with the focusing cam follower. But 3.5cm f2.5 and 2.8cm do fit. The 2.5cm can't be focused because it needs the Nikon body to do the focusing; the 2.1cm is too deep.

Matches my experience. FWIW, as far as the post-WWII W. German Contax RF wides, the Zeiss 21/4.5 & 35/2.8 Biogons & 35/3.5 Planar don't fit, either (though I have heard that the 21 Biogon may fit if you remove the rotating rear element shield).

I have two Nikkor LTM lenses, the 35/2.5 and 50/2.0. While the 50 is of almost no use because of a certain haze, the 35 is used from time to time. It's compact, quite sharp, and good for b&w. Color rendition is nice as long there's enough sunlight. I still did not get used to the aperture ring that works the other way round. Both lenses do focus closer than the rangefinder mechanism, another fact to get used. The bokeh of the 35 is not for everyone's taste. Funny in a way, disturbing for some others.

To be honest, I mostly prefer my Leica and Voigtländer glass.
