Mine is skipping tracks, the holder needs a shove to "catch", I've done all the resets and am using Vue Scan.
I suspect these are dead end units but perhaps someone here is good at tinkering with them?
Or needs a power supply and film holder? ;-P

Sony stocks and sells parts. I'm not sure if they repair them.

Frank: Precision Camera is the designated repair facility for Sony who handles Konica Minolta products. Their repairs usually have one price. Parts are sometimes an issue. Up to you to decide if you think your scanner is worth the cost of repair.
FWIW, I used a Minolta Scan Dual III for years. Nothing wrong with those scans today.

I've been playing with it and after unplugging it and restarting several times, it will do a preview and scan cleanly, but it slips at a few points so I can just give the holder a light push inwards and it reconnects and works properly. The scanning is fine, no gaps or lines, it just spins or grinds until I help it along.
So it's basically usable, but not comfort-inspiring lol.
I only paid $44 for the unit (and another $44 for the holder) so for under $100 I have a semi-functional unit, so it's not too bad. I probably would rather just buy another than to spend serious money on repairs.
