in the US?
I would like to hear first hand how service is handled - where, how fast, how satisfied the cstomer was. I tried in another thread without a lot of success, maybe they just haven't been out there long enough??
Thanks

Zeiss service is awsome.
i needed to have my Sonnar recalibrated.
so i submitted the service request on the web.
just a few hours after i received a mail from a Zeiss technician (with the guy email address not some generic email ) with instruction .
it took one week (including shipping) to receive mu perfectly calibrated lens !
and it is the same technician who has folowed the whole process and kept me up to date with status.
just the best service i ever had
of course this was free of charge !

This is out of the original topic, but do you have any sample photos shot with the lens at wide open after recalibration? Was it so-called focus shift calibration or optimization from f/2.8 to f/1.5?
