I am looking into having my 1953 J-9 re-lubed,
Iris is Fine, Elements are fine also...
Just a Re-lube with modern lube.
I am interested also in any RFF'r person who is good at this, and accepts PayPal as a compensation.
Thanks ahead of time.
Fedka does it for $75.00 (includes a $24 return ship from Ukraine).
But, I would like it in the USA, if possible.

You didn't say whether this was Contax/Kiev mount or M39. In any event, here's a link showing how to do this for a C/K; doesn't look too scary: http://www3.telus.net/public/rpnchbck/Jupiter-9 dismantle.html

You might check out the directory at http://www.acecam.com/srindex.html - it's indexed by location so you can find someone nearby and call them up & ask.

Youxin will do it,
He said if he can figure it, no problem,
So I replied with the link to the DIY re-lube,
He replied with:
"This helps. I think we should be able to make it.
Regards,
Youxin"
So, Off it goes.... $30 + return shipping to re-lube my 1953 J9
Thanks for the help..

The best of all solutions -- give a good repairman like Youxin some instructions so he can go forward.

Yes, I was a little hesitant at first to suggest a DIY Guide. After all, he has been at this for years.
And, I didn't want to sound more knowledgeable than him either. (I'm not by a long shot)..
A humble man is a man who continues to learn regardless of any past experience, degrees and honers.
Youix is a humble man, with a great talent.
