I have some old negs from years and i was wondering if I could somehow scan them on my coolscan V since I do not have prints.

Not ideal but if you don't mind cutting them into individual negatives (and and don't mind fiddling about!), I guess you could put them into a normal 35 mm glass slide mount (e.g. Gepe).

110 slide mounts are readily available. This is probably the way to go to scan your negs!

this is how I did it for Minox negatives:

I've gone and made one for 110 with some refinements and it works well. I added paper guides and a piece of diffusion material above the negative and it helps with b&w.
