Besides Blake?
Just wondering if it is worth the trip... trying to justiify a trip to Memphis for my wife just to get her out of the house in the coming weeks. Of course, our own "Memphis" will take care of the photo opps around town, but is Graceland worth the effort?

He wasn't called The King for nothing. If you like his music you have no choice on a trip to Memphis. I liked it a lot more than cheesy Beale Street. In Memphis I would suggest to visit the Sun Studios and the National Civil Rights museum (Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King was shot).

Gracvelands is great - especially the visitors. Best of all is Al green's Full Gospel Tabernacle church. Be prepared for a long, gruelling, emotionally-exhausting couple of hours you won't forget.

what peter said. take a nice wide lens with you for graceland too (i didn't and wished i had).
