Anybody use 150mm on a Pen FT?

Hi everyone,

I have a Pen in for overhaul for the moment. At first, for financial reasons, I was not going to repair my broken 150mm, but now I have a little extra cash to overhaul it if I want.

My question is this: is it worth it to overhaul that lens. I don't shoot telephoto a whole lot, but it is nice to have. But my worry is that the shutter speed is not really fast enough for hand held wildlife pictures with that lens.

Do any Pen users here use telephoto lenses and what is your experience?

And one other quick question: are Pen lenses single coated or multi-coated. Just curious

No problem at all, Michael. Use 1/250 or 1/500. For instance (some old stuff):

Not sure about the coating. I would assume SC.

I've just bought one for my Pen FT. I'm heading to Peninsula Valdes in Argentina, and as all my other cameras are rangefinders, I thought it would be a nice cost-effective way of shooting the sea-lions and penguins...
