I used one before and only find myself using one of the loops and not both. Its secure, but it gives me an uneasy feeling that my fingers might get ripped off if my camera was swiped away from me...

I hope I don't upset anyone but....
I dropped a Nikon F years ago using something similar.
............. Think big ugly dent and expensive repair bill.
I know they're "Steve McQueen" cool but you need a proper strap for you camera.

I use them on a CLE and a Hexar RF. I like them a lot, though the Hexar gets heavy if you carry it all day this way.
Can be combined with other straps/carry ideas since the lug is still accessible. If you wanted too.

We're all light!
The SLING's been standard equipment on one of my two Hexar RFs for about seven years now:
The one on the left.
No failures to speak of. In fact, it doesn't show any sign of wear. And it's been used a good deal.

I have one on all my medium/ large RFs and they work great. They "ain't purty", but get the job done. I swear by them.
