Anyone ever used the Canon Canoscan LiDE 600F scanner?

I am planning to buy a scanner and the Canon Canoscan LiDE 600F looks quite good and very cheap. I don't have much money to spend on that so has anybody ever used this scanner before? And I would like your opinion on this one and any recommandations on others.
Can I scan my Holga 120 films with it even if there is no medium format film adapter unit?
