I found an old Gossen Sixtar in an auction lot many years ago and it's never worked. It seems a shame to keep it languishing in a drawer, so it'd be good to see if I can get it working.

The needle swings freely when the meter is moved around quickly, so it's not pinned in place by something. And with a fresh PX625 alkaline equivalent, the battery check moves the meter needle to the right location. The damn thing just isn't registering light at all!

I've yet to remove the little plugs that cover the screws and venture into the meter, but if anyone has any prior experience with these, I'd appreciate some words of advice before I crack it open.
