Anyone has recently ordered from Cameraleathers?

Hi guys, plz offer me some information if you happened to have ordered from Cameraleather recently. I order a $50 "black beauty" leather for my original style M4 on Nov. 23rd, 2009. However, i haven't gotten the leather and received no response from them since i placed the order.

I had done business with Morgan before and know their process speed is slow, but usually no more than 30 days. This time he just lost the contact, and it seems that it has passed the last day for Paypal dispute. So i am just wondering if anyone recently had any transaction experience with Cameraleathers.com, and maybe can let me know if your order has arrived or if you are getting any response from the Morgan?

I had a transaction with them in August. Everything was ok even it took 3 or 4 weeks to get the material. But Morgan was very nice sending me back for free a piece of Grip Tac I ruined when I put it on my R-D1.

yeah. I ordered a piece for my olympus trip sometime in late november / early december but have not received any confirmation or package from him yet.

If you do a search here on Cameraleather you will
find a thread about them and this will give you an
idea of what you can expect. Some customers have
waited even longer than 30 days. There is another
seller on ebay that sells camera covers. Someone here
may have his contact info.

Ordered griptac on Dec. 20th 2oo9. It's arrived on Jan 4th 2o1o. They are slow a bit but the quality of their products worth the wait... They might have gone on vacation or smth. I hope it'll turn out good after all. GOOD things come to those who can wait!

i ordered some leather in august and it showed up around the end of october or beginning of november with a apology note for taking so long . just be patient i 'am sure he will deliver .

Aki Asahi's product line isn't nearly as extensive, so sometimes there is no choice. Given how many cameras he supports, Morgan is pretty damn good.

If you have a Comcast email address his replies are apparently rejected by their servers. There is a note on the site now.

I've just had an email exchange (non-Comcast) with Morgan about my Nikon 28Ti, said he was pretty busy through this week. Thanks for reminding me I need to email him tonight.

I bought two sets of leather kits from Morgan about two years ago, and I find his service to be exemplary. I didn't remember how long did the kits took to arrive via mail, but I also didn't remember being confused or concerned about it.

When you have a question about the kits, then you'll appreciate the level of support and how Morgan stand behind his products. He walked me through installing the covering on my Contax SLR.

Thanks for reminding me. I ordered and paid for a Rolleiflex T covering in the end of July 2009 - I did get a note w. thanks for payment and pictures but havent received the merchandise yet. I forgot all about it about it until this thread.

I think one of the reasons for hick-ups might be that the cameraleather ordering form is not the easiest one I've seen. It has happened to me couple of times that I didn't manage to fill in the exact camera type I was ordering the leather for. There is a small text area for that and it goes unnoticed too easily.

I ordered from cameraleather.com about two years ago and the transaction was pretty fast (though I was in the next state at the time.) I believe he's an RFF member, isn't he?

I'll vouch for Morgan--I just ordered some gray griptac on Tuesday and it arrived today. Pretty darn fast. Excellent service.

I ordered 12/26, received today (I think ... I'm not at home, my wife says she opened the packet with the leather) ... I'm not complaining.

So after all the positive remarks here about cameraleather, I decided to rely on the good words of RFF members and ordered on Tuesday from Morgan. Order arrived today! I don't know how that service can be beat.

glad that you guys all received your items... i haven't got mine yet, probably he has just mailed out the recent orders in a batch and i shall wait another few days in case it is still crossing the border.
