I bought a Konica S2 Auto from this guy on the video game before Xmas. When it turned up (rather slow delivery), it was not as described - the meter definitely did not work and the best exposure I could get at 400asa was 1/8 second at f1.8 - but that was only 3 inches away from a 100watt bulb!
Anyway, I contacted the seller who first offered a 50% reduction in price, then a full refund, so I sent the camera back for a full refund. There is no question that it got back, he has admitted that, but I'm still waiting for a refund.
Now I'm getting the story that the $$'s were posted to me weeks ago, he'll get a friend in the UK to send me a cheque in UK£, etc, etc. I'm concerned that I will never see my cash or camera ever again, and have given him an ultimatum to sort this out by a given date, or I report him to the admin at eb*y.
Has nyone dealt with this guy before - & if so, what was the result? His seller ID is "barnack", and he is based in Munster, Indiana.
