OK Latest GAS for me is a Horseman VH or VH-R, The VH-R has a coupled rangefinder so I figured someone here might have some experience with one..
I'm currently in a bind at home with the otherhalf RE Too much gear but have recently managed to make believe that I'm gearing down!!!
I have always hankered for one of these Technical/press/field cameras. I still have a couple of Sinar monorails from my Studio days but they really are impractical to take out. I have looked at Linhofs and Toyos but I really like the feel of the Horsemans.
I have also read a lot of comments about the rollfilm backs on these have a hard time keeping the film flat...Is this a serious problem?
Any comments from other members with this type of Camera?
I have basically found a set (Secondhand ) in very very good condition.
1x VH Body, 1x 6x7back, 1x 6x9back, ocusing hood, witha 75mm, 105mm and a 150mm and I can basically trade with my M4-2 and get some Cash back as well.
Does that sound like a good deal?
Mike.

No idea whether that's a good deal or not; what I can tell you as I struggle with my newly acquired 6x9 Linhof Technica IV is that view cameras are dangerously addictive......

Hi all, sorry to resort to this sort of soliciting, but these Horseman cameras are difficult to find!

If anyone has a Horseman VH-R camera for sale, then please get in contact with me via private message here on RFF.

THANKS!

U do c them occasionally turn up in the large format folder section at KEH, if u don't mind paying to have them ship from US. Btw, I don't know if they do or not, just assumed that KEH would.

Gary

In addition to KEH, the Japanese seller astrosmith22 on eBay usually has several Horseman technical cameras among his listings.
