I can't believe that I didn't ask this here before...
I've noticed that some of you guys are computer geeks just like I am...I assume that most (if not all) have at the very least been subjected to the IRC world at one time or another. I wanted to extend an invitation to join me in the #photogeeks channel on freenode.net IRC.
For the uninitiated...
IRC is Internet Relay Chat. It allows people to chat in almost realtime by connecting you to a server...you then join chat channels. It's a very, very large chat network and a lot of people use it. Freenode.net is a great network, in my opinion, and I've been on it for around 3.5 years. I hang out in #web, #wordpress, ##bookmark, and #photogeeks (duh) most often.
If you need help, there are tons of informational sites on the web. Good clients (something you must have to get on IRC) happen to be Chatzilla (which is bundled with the Mozilla web browser), X-Chat, and mIRC for Windows, but I don't use Windows anymore. I use MacIrssi most of the time. I've also used X-Chat Aqua and X-Chat 2 in X11. Google any one of those to come up with the main page.
