Welcome, Borhap. In general, while working photographers might have their preferences, they use whatever they can lay their hands on. Getting pictures is what matters, and any film is better than no film.

Jacob Holdt used a Canon Dial.

I'm not sure what kind of film, but I'd guess he used whatever was available, just like payasam wrote. Jacob Holdt sold blood plasm twice a week to buy film.

I remember vaguely it was mostly slide film. I have his book somewhere, I'll check it out later!
