The one at Central is new. Are the Bellevue M10s used Vince?

There was (is?) a scarcely used silver M10 at Popflash LA.
(I *almost* bought it. I bought my M4 from them 6 years ago.
...But then Camera West put up their store display M-D 262 at a more serious discount, and I committed to the future of the past--having at least one M for shooting like the M5.)

You know it may already be gone! I just checked their website and FB page and I don't see it any more. I do believe it was 'pre-owned', as they like to call it these days.

After the sensor corrosion debacle -and with Leica's response to it, I'm done with digital Leica's.

Seriously though. My only chance at owning a digital M these days is selling my black Contax G2, save some cash, and pray I find a good enough deal on an M9 or M240. I like the M9 for the feel and colors, but the iso performance worries me, and the sensor debacle is worrying as well. M240 is bulkier, but better iso performance and has the option of video (that I would likely never use).
The M10 is the ideal digital M for me right now and god knows there's no way I'll be able to shell out $6k on one. Even if I could, it's a ridiculous price.
How long til we see M10 prices drop to $2.5k/3k?

M240 used prices are only now dropping into the $3-$3,500 range.
The M10? You've probably got a 4-5 year wait on $3-$3,500.
Tamarkin has an EX++ rated used M10 for $6,350.

The moment the M11 shows up.
Then everyone will say how crap the M10 is and you HAVE to get the M11 if you want to take decent pics.
Rinse and repeat.

Personally I'm finding the $3k mark to be my sweet spot for buying/owning digital M body.
I'm on an M240 that I got for 3k, and I might be doing that with M10 when the time comes.

I'd really like a M10 Typ 262 (the one with aluminum top plate). Gonna be as slim and light as a good old M...
