I did and it is supposed to ship in October. Only a few days left so I hope I hear soon that it's on the way. Anyone else decide to give it a try?

This can only heat the water bath but not cooling it, so not much use. I am living in the tropical area so most of the year, the water temperature is above 20C.

Looks similar to the Sous Vide. I’ve never used one, but have read positive reviews from those who have. There are a few videos on YouTube showing how it works.

It looks like it's intended for C41 & E6 processes which require 38C.

It's a Sous Vide machine with a CineStill sticker:

And yes, I've heard they do a good job too. I'm going to buy one when my Jobo packs in again.

Thank you. I did not know there were youtube videos about this device. I should have guessed that however and just looked.

I just got word that my order has been shipped! Time to get cracking on color, as my lab has gone out of business just recently. I wonder if my C41 chemicals are still OK. At least 8 months old, but still unopened.

Powder or liquid? My guess is that they're still good. I've been doing my own C41 for the past few months with excellent results. Saving a bundle of money too.

There is a fairly lengthy thread on this little device over on largeformatphotagraphyforum. Those using it seem to like it ok.

My chemicals are all liquid, but unopened. I've had them in the house for at least 8 months. I should check and see if there is an expiration date on them.

I pre-ordered mine as well + their developing kit so that I can process Kodak Vision 3 500t at home.
Still waiting on mine to ship though, let me know how you like it!

If you accept the CS specs as stated, not exactly so. Clearly the main body of the device is sourced from the maker of the cooking appliance, but it looks like the temperature range control and some other parts have been modified to better fit our needs. For the price, I do not think you will find a better device of this type.

Well, my little gadget arrived yesterday. Actually it's not quite little. I thought I ordered up a container to hold the water that it would heat but it did not come.
Does anyone who might have this device have a favorite holder for their heated water, that this device can mount on?
